History: The Green Fleet division of Southern Counties
Express has been in the making for over two years. It is a program
designed to implement alternative fuel, heavy duty trucks into our fleet.
The Green Fleet will be operated under the management structure of
Southern Counties Express, Inc. |
Size of Operation: The Green
Fleet will begin operation with 71 LNG
trucks owned by Southern Counties
Express and leased to owner-operator
independent contractors for the duration
of the program. The 71 LNG trucks will
complement SCE's existing fleet of
approximately 150 trucks. |

Services: The Green Fleet LNG trucks will operate in the Los
Angeles and Long Beach Port harbor drayage environment, picking up and
delivering ocean shipping containers to and from Southern California
distribution facilities.

LNG Fueling Station:
Expected to open December 2007. This fueling station, servicing the Green
Fleet trucks and operated by Clean Energy, will be open to the public. |
LNG Service Station:
This on-site maintenance facility, servicing Green Fleet trucks and
operated by Westport Innovations, Inc. is open to the public. |
